1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mickey Health ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the App.
2. Description of Mickey Health
Mickey Health is a personal and family health dashboard that helps you view, organize, and monitor your own authorized health records. The App connects to your Epic MyChart account through the SMART on FHIR OAuth protocol to access patient-authorized health data, which may include demographics, lab results, vital signs, medications, conditions, encounters, procedures, allergies, immunizations, goals, care plans, diagnostic reports, and clinical documents, depending on granted scopes and health system availability.
3. Patient-Authorized Access Only
You may only connect health records that you are legally authorized to access. This includes your own health records or records of individuals for whom you are a legally authorized representative (such as a parent, guardian, or proxy). Unauthorized access to another person's health records is prohibited and may violate applicable laws.
4. Not Medical Advice
Mickey Health is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is designed solely to help you organize and view your health information. You should not rely on the App for medical decisions.
Always consult your healthcare provider before making any medical decisions. The information displayed in the App should not replace professional medical advice.
5. Emergency Disclaimer
IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL 911 (IN THE UNITED STATES) OR YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICES IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT USE MICKEY HEALTH FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SITUATIONS.
6. User Responsibility for Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Mickey Health account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
7. Authorization and Revocation
When you connect your MyChart account to Mickey Health, you authorize the App to access the health information you specify during the authorization process. The App may receive ongoing updates to your health information if you grant persistent access.
You may revoke this authorization at any time by disconnecting your account through Mickey Health or by managing connected applications in your MyChart account settings.
8. Data Accuracy Limitations
Mickey Health displays health information as it is provided by your connected health systems through their FHIR APIs. We do not verify, modify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Data availability and accuracy depend on each health system's systems and processes.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MICKEY HEALTH AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
